Betty's doesn't take reservations for the main tearoom, it operates on a walk-in basis. Queue times can be 30–60 minutes on busy weekends but it moves quickly and the experience is worth it. Alternatively, Betty's at RHS Harlow Carr takes bookings and is a slightly calmer experience.
The Turkish Baths are an excellent hen party activity, you can book private group sessions for exclusive use, which is brilliant for a hen party. The stunning Victorian architecture (Grade II listed) makes it a memorable experience. Book well in advance as private sessions sell out quickly.
The class runs for 2 hours. Your mixologist arrives 15 minutes early to set up. Each guest makes three cocktails, a Sex on the Beach, a Mojito and a Cosmopolitan, with games and competitions woven throughout. It's the perfect way to start a Harrogate hen night before you head out.
