The Long Walk, a 2.65-mile grand avenue of trees stretching from the Castle to the Copper Horse statue on Snow Hill, is one of the most magnificent formal landscape features in England. Across the Thames, Eton, reached via the pedestrian Windsor Bridge, is the home of Eton College, one of England's most famous schools, with beautiful Georgian and Victorian architecture.
